identity & Self-esteem
Support in rediscovering your authentic self and nurturing self-esteem. Easing self-doubt, releasing old patterns, and fostering self-compassion.
Rediscovering Identity
You may find yourself constantly second-guessing who you are, shaping yourself around others’ expectations, or wondering if you’ve lost touch with your own voice. Maybe people-pleasing leaves you exhausted, boundaries feel impossible to hold, or your mind gets caught in loops of overthinking and rumination. Disconnected from your emotions and unsure of your inner wants, you may feel like you’re moving through life on autopilot. Present, but not fully you.
Therapy offers a path back to yourself. As a therapist trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I help clients explore the parts of themselves that carry self-doubt, guilt, or fear, while uncovering the inner strengths and wisdom often hidden beneath old patterns.
Together, we’ll explore how your sense of identity first began taking shape. Often this process begins in childhood, where we learn to adapt in order to feel safe, accepted, or loved. Those early patterns can become powerful stories that still guide how you see yourself today, even when they no longer support your present self.
Together we’ll honor the parts of you that developed out of necessity and survival, and reprocess experiences that shaped those stories. Opening the door to rewrite your own narrative. One that reflects not who you had to be, but who you truly are.

Establishing Self-Esteem
You may find yourself constantly questioning your worth, feeling “less than,” or wondering why confidence feels so out of reach. Maybe you downplay your strengths, struggle to celebrate successes, or find your inner critic louder than your self-compassion. At the same time, living with exhaustion, stomach aches, or the daily toll of chronic illness can leave you feeling even more disconnected from your body and uncertain about your value. Over time, the weight of these struggles can make it hard to see yourself clearly, let alone kindly.
Through Somatic Therapy we will rebuild your relationship with yourself. Not just in your thoughts, but in your body. We’ll pay attention to how stress, fatigue, and old patterns live in your physical experience. The tightness in your chest, the knot in your stomach, the heaviness of exhaustion. By slowing down and gently tuning into your body’s signals, you can begin to release what’s been held for too long and create space for self-compassion and new ways of relating to yourself.
Self-esteem often takes root in early experiences, supported by the stories we carry from our childhood or past relationships. Somatic Therapy helps us not only talk about these stories but feel where they live in your body, gradually shifting them to allow space. You will begin to rewrite your narrative. One where your body and your being are not defined by pain or limitation, but honored as whole, resilient, and worthy.
The result is not only a gentler, more compassionate relationship with yourself, but also the confidence to move through life grounded in your inherent value.
Body and mind connected.
