Grief, Loss, & Life Transitions

Support for individuals, couples, and families in navigating loss, change, and major life transitions. Fostering resilience, processing grief, and restoring a sense of stability and consistency, no matter what life has thrown your way.

Therapy for Grief & Loss

Experiencing the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or another significant loss can leave you feeling overwhelmed, numb, or unsure of how to move forward. You may notice waves of sadness, guilt, anger, or even relief. This roller-coaster feeling can leave you struggling to make sense of your emotions while carrying on with daily life. Grief can be isolating and confusing, and it often impacts not just how you feel, but how you relate to yourself and the people around you.

Therapy can provide a safe, compassionate space to process these complex emotions. Together, we’ll explore your experience, honor your losses, and work with the thoughts, feelings, and memories that may feel difficult to hold. With formal training in Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help you work with difficult memories, emotional triggers, and the parts of yourself that hold grief or pain. Together, we’ll explore your experience, honor your losses, and develop coping strategies that allow you to integrate grief into your life at your own pace, without being defined by it.

This work supports healing and transformation, allowing you to reconnect with yourself, your values, and your relationships. Gradually finding a sense of meaning, restoring emotional balance, and moving toward a life where the presence of loss is acknowledged, honored - living alongside resilience, hope, and connection.

Therapy for Life Transitions

Life changes can be exciting, but they can also feel unsettling, overwhelming, and even lonely. Whether you’re facing the end, or start of a relationship, a job change, a move, shifting friendships, or family conflict, transitions can bring uncertainty, self-doubt, and emotional upheaval. It’s common to feel stuck between holding on to the past and stepping into the next chapter, unsure how to process the change while staying grounded in your values.

I offer clients a space to explore the stories you tell yourself about these transitions and the meaning you assign to them. Drawing on my formal training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), mixing in bits from Attachment Theory and Narrative Therapy, I help you uncover the parts of yourself that may hold fear, resistance, or old patterns. This clarity can guide you in reshaping the narratives that influence how you move through change.

Together, we’ll illuminate new perspectives, strengthen your self-awareness, and develop practical ways to navigate uncertainty with confidence and clarity.

Through this work, you’ll gain insight, resilience, and tools to move forward with intention. Whether you’re adjusting to a new chapter or letting go of what no longer serves you, therapy helps you approach life transitions with greater self-trust, balance, and a renewed sense of possibility.
