Welcome, I’m Mandi.

I believe healing happens in relationships - with ourselves, with others, and within community. As a therapist, I offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore the deeper patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate.

I’m a trauma-informed registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles, with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. As a clinician I approach care holistically. In practice this looks like integrating different formal modalities and improving somatic awareness to support healing on both emotional and physiological levels.

Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, identity questions, or relational struggles, I’m here to walk with you.

Curiously, collaboratively, and without judgment. Therapy is a space to reconnect with yourself, and through that, with others.

Professional Background

Before becoming a therapist, I built a strong foundation in both community mental health and high-level marketing. Both were experiences that uniquely shape the way I understand people, their motivations, and the systems they move through. Early in my career, I served as a Mental Health Case Manager in rural Minnesota, providing outreach, skills development, symptom management, and vocational support for adults diagnosed with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). Working in underserved communities taught me how to meet people exactly where they are, with respect and practicality. My parallel experience in high-level marketing sharpened my understanding of human behavior, communication, and the unseen narratives that drive us - invaluable insight I now bring thoughtfully into clinical work.

After earning my Master’s in Clinical Psychology, I dedicated myself to developing as a clinician with intention and depth. I’ve invested in rigorous professional trainings, broadened my clinical lens by working with diverse populations, and cultivated a practice grounded in clinical competence, deep self-awareness, and ongoing education. I believe that strong therapeutic work is built on a balance of knowledge, skill, humility, and lived experience.

This perspective has guided me throughout my career.

I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of therapeutic environments, including private practice, residential substance use treatment, trauma-focused centers, nonprofit mental health programs, and concierge therapy. These settings have shaped my ability to hold complexity, respond with nuance, and tailor treatment to each individual’s history and goals. Beyond my education and clinical training, my own lived experiences meaningfully inform the compassion and clarity I bring to the therapy room.

I am honored to support individuals from all walks of life who are ready to deepen their self-understanding, heal long-standing patterns, and move toward a more grounded, empowered version of themselves. My approach is trauma-informed, warm, collaborative, and culturally attuned. I pride myself on ensuring our work is always centered on the unique person I have the privilege of sitting with.

little more
about me

  • From an early age I saw firsthand the impact good therapy can have. From that, understanding others on a deeper level has always been something I was drawn to, and this compassionate curiosity led me into a career I feel so lucky to have. I love continuing to learn and grow as a person and a clinician.

  • Without pause my favorite part is my clients. Building safety, trust, and relationship with someone is such an honor. Also, being some part of a person’s experience, transformation, growth, awareness increasing - it’s truly magical.

  • I’m a huge fan of Bell Hooks, specifically “All About Love”. I’ve also found John Steinbeck’s writing on intergenerational trauma really thought-provoking. Anything around the human condition, connectedness/isolation, or stories of trials we endure spark my light as a therapist.

  • I love relaxing with my husband and our two cats, going to the beach, enjoying nature, hanging out with my friends, watching movies, and playing games. I’ve recently fallen in love with machine sewing, so making lopsided tote bags is another interest as of late.

  • I love to disconnect from social media, go for walks around my neighborhood, and prioritize sleep! Having a really tasty meal, watching a good movie or show, and eating popcorn with M&M’s also usually does the trick.
