Welcome, I’m Mandi.

I believe healing happens in relationships - with ourselves, with others, and within community. As a therapist, I offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore the deeper patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate.

I’m a trauma-informed registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles, with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. As a clinician I approach care holistically. In practice this looks like integrating Narrative, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic awareness to support healing on both emotional and physiological levels.

I believe healing happens in relationships - with ourselves, with others, and within community. As a therapist, I offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore the deeper patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate.

Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, identity questions, or relational struggles, I’m here to walk with you—curiously, collaboratively, and without judgment. Therapy is a space to reconnect with yourself, and through that, with others.

Professional Background

Prior to pursuing my therapy licensure I had the impactful experience of working in rural counties of my home state, Minnesota, as a Targeted Case Manager. During this time I supported outreach, skills development, symptom management, and vocation improvements for adults diagnosed with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI).

Since receiving my Master’s in Clinical Psychology I have poured myself into growing professionally and clinically. This includes both trainings to strengthen my skillset, and clinically working with clients of different backgrounds. I find clinical competency comes from a healthy mix of training, education, self-awareness, support, and experience. This viewpoint has served me well through my career.

I have always had a passion for working with people and a curiosity about what forms a person’s personality and sense of self. Which experiences stick, which do they shed? What are the stories they tell themselves? Who wrote them, who edits them?

In our work together, I will help to shine a light on different experiences and parts of yourself so we can create a future you’re excited about - together.

I look forward to supporting people from all walks of life interested in improving their well-being and exploring healing and growth. I offer a warm, collaborative, and culturally-attuned approach that is completely tailored to the unique person I have the privilege of sitting in session with.

little more
about me

  • I’ve known I wanted to be a therapist ever since I found out it was a job! Understanding others on a deeper level has always been something I was drawn to, and this compassionate curiosity led me into a career I feel so lucky to have. I love continuing to learn and grow - this is the perfect career for that!

  • I get this question a lot! My favorite part of being a therapist is forming the relationship between clinician and client. The safety, trust, and connection is incredible to witness, and an honor to be a part of.

  • I’m a huge fan of Bell Hooks, specifically “All About Love”. I’ve also found John Steinbeck’s writing on intergenerational trauma really thought-provoking. Anything around the human condition, connectedness/isolation, or stories of trials we endure spark my light as a therapist.

  • I love relaxing with my husband and our two cats, going to the beach, enjoying nature, hanging out with my friends, watching movies, and playing games. I’ve recently fallen in love with machine sewing, so making lopsided tote bags is another interest as of late.

  • I love to disconnect from social media, go for walks around my neighborhood, and prioritize sleep! Having a really tasty meal, watching a good movie or show, and eating popcorn with M&M’s also usually does the trick.
